Physically pull a real, responsive string to play tug-of-war against a virtual dog.

It’s a haptic alternative controller: The stubborn “dog” is a motor that pulls and releases with different force settings at intervals and synchronizes with precision with a video in a monitor. Specially fun for children.

The prototype was built from a recycled printer and scrap wood, using Arduino with a motor shield and Python for the computer side.
